General terms of use (GT)

All services of whatever kind ("services") provided by Advokaturbüro Wolff, Gstöhl & Bruckschweiger ("WGB") within the scope of the website operated on the domain are provided exclusively on the basis of these General Terms of Use ("GT") as amended. By accepting and/or making use of the services the user automatically accepts these GT. Variations on these GT require WGB’s express prior written consent in each case.

WGB provides all services in each case in accordance with existing technical, economic, operational and organisational possibilities. Therefore, WGB shall not be liable for any interruptions, faults, delays, deletions, erroneous transmissions or storage failure in connection with the use of services and/or communication with the user.

The user notes that the services offered by WGB require the involvement of third party network operators. Therefore, the availability of the services depends on the technical provision of third-party network services. WGB accepts no responsibility for possible interruptions to our services and does not guarantee that these will be available at all times. The user accepts that Internet access, the transfer speed and the availability and stability of network connections and access are beyond the control of WGB.

WGB is entitled at any time and without giving reasons to interrupt or limit the services for internal reasons, such as for maintenance, for a reasonable period. The user shall not derive any claims on account of this.

The user is entitled and uses WGB’s services at his/her own risk and cost, and shall hereby only use suitable technical equipment, such as appropriate computers, modems, etc. The user is also obliged only to use the services in compliance with statutory provisions and in particular to avoid any improper use of the services.

Hyperlinks to websites operated by WGB may only be created with WGB’s prior written consent. Any consent is however in any case only granted subject to the proviso that it may be withdrawn at any time. Use of frame and inline links is prohibited in all cases.

If WGB uses links to websites that are not operated by WGB, it only does so as an additional service for the user in order to enable his/her access to such websites. In this case WGB assumes no warranty and/or liability for the content of such websites.

The services offered by WGB are not created for the individual requirements and needs of one individual, but for the general public. WGB shall select the services it offers (such as information) with due care and attention. However, WGB assumes no warranty and/or liability for the correctness, freedom from errors, topicality or completeness of the services it offers (of information for example) or for the specific usefulness or value thereof.

WGB also specifically offers users Internet portal services (such as information) that are facilitated, created or otherwise made available by third parties. WGB shall insofar as is possible seek to ensure that no third-party rights are infringed by the operation of the Internet portal, in particular, but not limited to, copyright, trademarks, rights of exploitation or other usage rights. However, WGB does not warrant that the services (such as information) made use of by the users are free of third-party rights, in particular, but not limited to, copyright, trademarks, rights of exploitation or other usage rights. Liability for any losses resulting from this is excluded.

In any case, WGB’s liability, on its merits, shall be restricted to intent and gross negligence. WGB's liability for financial losses from minor negligence is excluded.

All the services offered by WGB, in particular the information, data, texts, etc., provided, may only be used privately by the user. Commercial use of whatever kind is always prohibited.

The user undertakes in particular to refrain from exploitation and use in any way of the services, in particular all duplication, storage, distribution, publication, sale or processing, in particular of information, texts, layouts, etc. The user shall take every measure to adhere to these obligations.

The courts of Liechtenstein shall alone be competent to hear (international) lawsuits. The substantive law of Liechtenstein applies to the exclusion of the UN Sales Convention (CISG).

The invalidity or ineffectiveness of individual provisions of the GT shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions; in this case, such agreements as are legally effective, and are as close as possible to the original intent of WGB, shall be deemed to be valid. Insofar as written form is required in these GT, transmission by fax or e-mail shall suffice.
